I am originally from the UK and am currently working as a Research Fellow in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. I have published my research in peer-reviewed journals and have presented at conferences around the world. I've been teaching at university and college level for the last ten years (McGill University, University of Alberta, Vanier College). Before that, I taught in sixth form in the UK (16-18 years). I have taught ethics, philosophy of psychology, philosophy of mind, existentialism, phenomenology, feminist theory, logic, history of philosophy, essay writing, and English (including TOEFL). I have a PhD, MA (distinction), and BA (first class honours) in philosophy.
I have wide experience teaching and tutoring French at a university and college level. Whether you are interested in improving your speaking abilities for your career, or whether you are studying at a university level, I offer one-to-one of group tutoring. We can work to the requirements of your class or I can devise a syllabus for us to work through together. I also have lots of expereince tutoring students preparig to take the TEF or TEFAQ exams. I have a PhD and MA in Linguistics and am a native French speaker.
